Vinopolis is delighted to be teaming up with TV chef and food writer Celia Brooks Brown, to provide a truly unique gourmet food and wine experience. Building on her highly successful Gastrotours of Borough Market, Celia will host a new Thursday afternoon event aimed towards intrepid food and wine lovers and beginners alike.

The tour begins at 3pm with a luxurious afternoon tea at Roast Restaurant, perched above the market. Soak up the atmosphere before joining the hustle and bustle with a veritable tasting tour guided by Celia giving the chance to meet with the passionate traders at Borough. Sample their produce and listen to their stories, ranging from rare breed meats, superfood juices, fine cheese, delicious tapas from Brindisa including their ultimate Iberico ham, among others.  Having made a few spontaneous purchases, the group will move onto Vinopolis for a gourmet food and wine matching session. Celia will cook a few seasonal recipes, inside the Vinopolis tour, using the produce bought from the market, and these will be matched with a selection of premium wines specially chosen by a wine expert at Vinopolis.
