Burns Supper and Whisky Masterclass

Friday 24th January
6.30pm
This January celebrate the life and poetry of Robert Burns with Whisky Expert and resident Scot, Tom Forrest, as he hosts a very special whisky tasting session and traditional Burns Supper. Tucked within the atmospheric arched brick tunnels of Vinopolis, you will be treated to a superb evening dedicated to the delights of Scotland, including:
– a piper to welcome the guests
– a whisky cocktail reception
– a whisky tasting session with four great Scottish whiskies, each expressing the variety of styles produced throughout the different regions of Scotland
– a 3-course traditional Burns Supper hosted by Tom Forrest, including the Address to the Haggis and the Toast to the Immortal Memory
Burns Ceilidh and Wine Tasting Package
Saturday 25th January
Here’s how it works: begin the evening on the Essential Vinopolis Wine Tasting Experience with seven tokens to spend on your choice of wines, spirits and Champagne, discovering more about your individual taste profile on our interactive machines (did you know that your love-hate relationship with marmite can affect which wines you like??).
Then at 8.30pm make your way through to the Ceilidh Hall for an unforgettable night of dancing, food and entertainment with Licence to Ceilidh, specialising in combining traditional Scottish ceilidh tunes with modern beats and rhythms. And it doesn’t matter if you don’t know the moves, as there will be a professional caller taking you through the steps as you go!
All tickets include:
• Seven tokens to spend on your choice of wines, spirits and Champagne on the Vinopolis Wine Tasting Experience (open from 4pm)
• Entry to the Licence to Ceilidh ceilidh dance (8.30-11.30pm)
