Vinopolis Hen Parties

What better way for the bride-to-be to celebrate than with an interactive wine tasting and cocktail making session.  The Vinopolis hen party is a fun and sophisticated way to enjoy the occasion with friends and learn something new in an informal and engaging manner.

On arrival, a Vinopolis wine guide will greet you and your party with a glass of Prosecco, famously used in Bellini’s in Harry’s Bar in Venice, whilst you learn a little more about the provenance of this elegant drink.

Your guide will then teach you and your guests how to sniff, swirl and slurp like a professional in a private ‘How to Taste Wine’ session. Following this the chief hen will be challenged to a blind wine tasting of red and white wine, putting her newly acquired skills to the test. 

The party will conclude with a cocktail making session where the bride can create her own masterpiece for the fellow hens to enjoy under the guidance of a Vinopolis cocktail expert. The hens will then receive 3 further tasting vouchers to redeem on the Wine Tour at your leisure. 

As a memento of the occasion the chief hen will receive a gift box including a Suzy Atkins’ ‘Girls Guide to Wine’, a disposable camera, to record all the hen party moments, two wine glasses and a bottle of Chamarré rosé wine. *

Duration: 1.5 hours approx (of which 45 minutes is spent with your guide and the remaining time is self guided around the tour.)

Champagne Hen Party

For those of you with a thirst for fizz, why not indulge yourselves in an extra treat with ‘The Champagne Hen Party.’   You can still enjoy Prosecco, followed by a private ‘How to taste wine session’ and the blind wine tasting and in addition to the cocktail making you will go on to taste some Champagne.  A Vinopolis host will give a detailed overview of the Champagne process from development to remuage, each hen will then be given a small bottle of Champagne to drink on the tour to toast the special event along with your 3 additional tasting vouchers to redeem on the Wine Tour at their leisure.

If you are not a bride-to-be the hen party package is also a great option for a ‘girl’s night out’ for groups of 10 or more.

You can now upgrade your hen party to include a 1 hour prosecco and tapas reception served by your very own 'Butler in the Buff'!

Charming, innocent and just a little cheeky “Butlers in the Buff” will transform your hen party into a truly memorable evening, wearing only a bow tie, collar, cuffs and a bottom revealing apron!

So, let our lovely butlers take the stress out of entertaining, sit back and enjoy the view while your butler tops up your drinks and waits on you and your fellow hens hand and foot.

Upgrades are charged at £15 per head (based on 1 Butler) before 5pm (prices available on request for bookings after 5pm)

The Full Day package

Greeted on arrival by your Vinopolis host you will enjoy a lavish Champagne reception with 3 different Champagne tastings whilst learning more about this world famous drink and including a special gift for the hen.  Following this you will be escorted to our Cantina restaurant  for a fabulous 3 course lunch. Finally, after your meal, you will take the Spirit of Vinopolis tour which includes the tasting of 5 regular wines, 2 absinthes, 2 beers, 2 whiskys, 2 rums, a specially prepared Bombay Sapphire cocktail plus a tasting notebook to record your thoughts!

Duration: Approximately 4-5 hours
