Looking for a unique team-building exersise or simply a fun treat for your colleagues? Our Hosted Wine Tastings are available for groups of 10 or more, and offer the chance to sample six carefully selected wines in a private session hosted by one of our knowledgeable wine guides who’ll have you swirling, sniffing and slurping like a professional in no time!

Port Tasting

For an additional £5 per person, allow your guide to incorporate a tasting of premium port in your masterclass to broaden your range of tastings and discover a great port to add to your drinks cabinet.

Wine Token Upgrades

If you think you’ll want to use more than 7 tokens on the wine tasting experience, top-up tokens are available for an additional £5 for 4 tokens or £10 for 8 tokens.

The Spirited Stag Party is the perfect way to indulge in a variety of spirits including whisky, rum, gin, absinthe and spicy vodka!

Kick the session off with a whisky cocktail before putting you and your group in the hands of one of our experts, who will explore the differences in whisky and rum, so you and the guys will know all you need to know in order to appreciate a good snifter.

Let’s hope your Stag is paying close attention, because he will, of course, be selected for a Blind Tasting Challenge to see if he can tell the difference between a whisky and rum – not as straightforward as it may sound! Then it’s time to learn about and sample boutique gin with Whitley Neill London Dry Gin, a feast for the senses, before you are treated to the absinthe-making challenge, where your Stag will be in charge of preparing a traditional French absinthe for all the party to taste (if you dare).

Then before we set you on your way around the wine tasting experience, there is one more treat in store… the ultimate challenge for your taste buds is Bloodshot vodka, a fiery fusion of exotic spices, hot peppers & heady aromatics. He who dares, definitely wins.

To wrap it all up, you and your party will then be let loose under the Vinopolis arches armed with 7 wine tasting tokens with which to sample your choice of wines, spirits and champagne before settling finally in our pub, Brew Wharf where you can enjoy a sample of our home-brewed beer.*

If your stag loves a drop of red wine then the Red Blooded Stag Party is the perfect package for a wine-lover’s send-off…

Upon arrival your party will be treated to a delicious sparkling wine reception hosted by one of our wine experts, who will then deliver a private ‘How to Taste Wine’ session for you and your group where you will learn how to ‘swirl, sniff and slurp’ like professionals!

Your host will then show you the ropes in all-things-red-wine with three premium quality reds to taste including a light red wine, a medium red wine and a robust red wine, showing you how to pick out the differences between each and setting your stag up for the Ultimate Blind Wine Challenge – let’s hope he’s been paying close attention! Learn how to appreciate a good wine and pick up tricks of the trade as well as fun wine facts in this private tasting session dedicated to you and your party before you embark on your journey of wine discovery in the tasting experience…
