This 4th July, embrace Independence Day and join us for a fantastic American Wine Masterclass with our resident expert Tom Forrest! We’ll take you on a voyage of discovery, beginning with some California classics. This masterclass will also feature the wineries that took part in the infamous ‘Judgement of Paris Wine Tasting’ in 1976 – an event which truly cemented America’s standing as a quality producer within the world of wine.

So, if the style of New World wine gets you ticking, this summer session is most certainly for you!


Bastille French Cheese & Wine MasterclassBASTILLE DAY FRENCH CHEESE AND WINE MASTERCLASS, 12th July

We’re adding a touch of “joie de vivre” to one of our most popular masterclasses to celebrate 16 Years of Vinopolis and, of course, to join in with the Bastille celebrations. Pair six delicious French cheeses with six fabulous French wines in this hour and a half masterclass as our expert host demonstrates why these mouth-watering pairings work so well. Ooh là là!


turkish whats on 150x150TURKISH WINE MASTERCLASS, 23rd July

Turkey has a long history of wine production. In the last few decades, there has been an explosion in quality and diversity, with exciting new boutique producers joining the respected and established names.

To truly showcase some of Turkey’s award-winning wines from a variety of regions, we’ve teamed up with the Turkish Wine Alliance for an exclusive masterclass with Master of Wine, Sarah Abbott. We’ll explore ten wines, combining familiar grape varieties such as Chardonnay and Cabarnet Sauvignon with some indigenous discoveries including Narince and Kalecik Karasi.

Our fantastic array of Turkish wines will also be accompanied with a selection of Turkish olives and cheese.



Meet the Expert: Oz ClarkeWINE TASTING WITH OZ CLARKE, Saturday 7th November

This November Oz Clarke is back at Vinopolis with three new wine tasting sessions! From matching five fabulous dishes to the perfect wine selected by Oz to a fun and informal session where you can learn top tips and ask your own questions as you taste a range of Oz’s favourite wines.
